We're looking for an assistant in our accounting department, from Mid-September to mid December 2016.
You must be a NZ resident with an NZ passport to apply for this position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently graduated student to get some real world experience and excellent training towards their accounting, business or administration careers, or for a person looking to return to work after having a family or for a retiree looking for a short term challenge.
We're looking for someone that is hard working, with a can do attitude - you must be open to working with a variety of personalities in a fast paced environment - there is a very competitive rate of pay for the right person.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- General office admin: you will be our assistant (2 accountants), so will answer the phone, do the day-to-day filing, photocopying, you may also be the one to grab coffees, do sandwich runs - so there's a bit of actual "personal assisting" etc
- You will be trained in our in-house accounts package and after training, will take on board the entering of accounts payable and petty cash.
